Andrew Hird has a wealth of experience in holiday park management and development. From 1996 to 2010 he was director of Leisure Target Tourism Services. For the past ten years Andrew has been the chairman and director of Visit North Norfolk as well as having overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations at one of East Anglia’s most successful independent holiday parks. The past ten years have seen the holiday parks turnover double, the number of pitches on the park increase by over 100 and the development of a new clubhouse and leisure centre – all completed on time and within budget providing predictable revenue streams and sustainable profitability. Andrew has also secured exclusive distribution contracts with a number of holiday homes manufacturers including Sunseeker and Atlas Holiday Homes.
Over the last 6 years, Abigail Dowe has developed a strong operational skillset in the holiday park sector. She champions a customer-focused strategy by ensuring the needs and preferences of a customer are the primary focus of the business. It’s how a business can build customer loyalty, increase customer satisfaction and ultimately, drive business success. Abi has the marketing experience to help drive customer acquisition and retention, as well as increase brand awareness and recognition. Abi’s highly organised and personable approach is instrumental in developing strong relationships with suppliers and staff. Her passion is the long term relationship between partners.
Jessica Jordan spent 13 years in a commercial banking role at Barclays where she was customer relationship support manager for over 80 businesses. Jessica’s expertise covers all aspects of finance and banking as well as tax processes. Jessica is well respected for the keen eye she keeps on profit and loss figures and her close attention to business efficiencies. For the past 8 years Jessica has specialised in the holiday park industry, where she has focussed on developing client relationships and holiday home sales. Her product knowledge and rapport building allows for a smooth transition for all parties.
Colin has more than 30 years’ experience creating brand awareness and working with senior personnel to promote their businesses. Over the years Colin has not only run his own companies but has also undertaken a number of senior roles servicing the leisure and holiday park sector as both sales director and commercial director. Health & safety has always been part of Colin’s overall responsibilities; he is currently in the final stages towards completing a Nebosh diploma. Colin is a driven individual and well recognised for his strong work ethic and passion in helping businesses grow and develop.
